Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra - open air concert

Stalin x SOČR (=Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra) Did you know that before famous metronome which extends across the river Vltava above the Old Town once was huge statue of Stalin. Here in BellPrague we compare it to Jesus Crist in Rio. Thanks Got we don´t have this statue in Prague any longer since 1965. There was enough of Stalin in Prague. It took long time - almost thirty years when metronome was installed here in the year 1991 to count down last moments of communism in the world. Let´s hope that one day there will be not needed.

How to get there? It´s easy! Once being in the Old Town you just cross the Čechův most (Bridge), clime up few steps and you are there. You surely will be attracted by the music. Don´t like the steps? Then take any of the trams as No 1, 8, 12, 25, 26 etc., get off at the stop Sparta (soccer stadium) and walk across open plain being attracted by the music. After the concert you can simply walk down towards the Old Town of Lesser Town.
