Imagine going back in time to hear the music just as in Mozart's times. Spend an evening in the beautiful baroque interior of St. Francis of AssisiChurch in the heart of Prague, listening to the city’s second oldest organ from 1702, delicately restored to its original baroque tuning. You will hear esteemed Czech musicians performing famous baroque pieces interleaved by other exquisite musical treasures. Usually three artists perform at the concerts – soloists of our prominentopera and orchestrabodies, pedagogues of the Academy of music and drama and Prague conservatory.
The lenght of the program is one hour without the intermission.
The Church of St. Francis is situated on the right bank of the river Vltava, in Křižovnické náměstí Square right next to the Old Town end of Charles Bridge and the Tower, neighboring to the building of Klementinum. You can walk five minutes south from both the metro (A line) and the tram stops (trams 17 and 18) Staroměstská or you follow Karlova Street from the Old Town Square.
