Due to rather long history of ancient Prague, especially the Old Town, the city also dispose with another level – its Romanesque and Gothic spacies. Why not to explore some of these places, going up and down listening its history, getting back to the past and discover what´s hidden under nice. We will be visiting at least four places within the Old Town usually hidden to public´s eyes. And why not to sample some wine with that in one of these cellars – let´s listen the stories what these spaces represent, what is the history of the houses standing today above. In most of cases, they count at least 800 years.

How to get there?

Old Town Square – the center - in front of the monument of Master Jan Huss, Prague 1
The Old Town and the Old Town Square you will find in the right hand side part of Prague, as a historical core of the city. You can choose from several directions and public transportations as well, to come here. From the direction of Wenceslas Square, you follow either Melantrichova or Železná Streets – the arrival from the East. The nearest metro station to get to the Old Town Square is Staroměstská metro A line stop, then following Kaprova Street. In the Old Town Square, you search for the only monument – statue of Master John Huss. Your guide will be there with FEBS 2019 International Conference. sign.
